Theme 38: Exploring Williamsburg. Cinématographie

I seriously should be hired to be a location scout for films as I always find the most interesting and not overused spots for my photographs. For the Theme 38 I decided to Explore Williamsburg and shoot my another PrettyMissy look.

I paired this leopard jumpsuit with a red beret from Urban Outfitters (similar one for cheaper price HERE) and one of the most exquisite pair shoes I ever had - Femmes Sans Peur that remind me of Assyrian and Egyptian temple art.

Theme 36: Holiday Season. 70s Party Vibes with Revolve

Holiday season is approaching and we all are on a lookout for perfect gifts and beautiful outfits. Of course sparkling embellished dresses for New Years Eve parties and cozy sweaters for Christmas dinners are not going anywhere, but 70s style is making a huge comeback this season!

Revolve has always been one of the websites where I go to to find new cool designer pieces and the trendiest of outfits, and Clayton collection really caught my eye. I picked this stunning, but soft and comfortable Clement jumpsuit that is as perfect for a glam party as it is for a vacation in warmer places. Please bare in mind that the jumpsuit is quite tall, so either wear heels or prepare to get it shortened (or maybe you are actually above 6', so this is made for you and I congratulate you on your endless legs!)

Theme 33: CUBA DIARY. Cuban Vibes

Yes, at the end I want everything to be easily searchable and categorised, so everyone who visits my website can find ALL the information they need for their upcoming trip to a specific location, or find everything related to Star Wars, for example, with constantly updated looks, book lists and gifts ideas. You can already check some of my "themed issues" on the ARCHIVE page by the way!

I remember when I started this blog I didn't imagine my social platforms and the website will grow so rapidly. I always wanted to make Pastiche.today more like a themed magazine, however changing themes weekly has been a major struggle lately and I wasn't able to keep up with posting all the travels, events and amazing collaborations I was so privileged to experience. Then a light bulb went off in my head and I realised that I just should make Pastiche.today more organised, and while limiting the number of THEMES, I can update them like little magazine issues that NEVER get old!

But lets return to our Cuban dream trip. Everyone who knows me well, notices that I love choosing my wardrobe for the trips and my style changes and adapts depending on the destination (which is perfect for someone who loves doing THEMED posts, right?!)  I wore a lot of white and hues of blue in Hamptons, didn't bring a lot of accessories and opted for simplistic luxury bags (I will share my Hamptons weekend with you soon!)

For Cuba on the other hand I went overboard. As far as I could! I brought flower crowns, colourful dresses in 50s inspired silhouettes, sexy crop tops, flowy skirts, big eye-popping bright earrings, bracelets, sandals. Parrots! Feathers! Flowers! And I think I made it work. I tried to emphasise the beauty of Cuba with my style choices.

One of my favorite outfits to wear in Cuba was this sultry polka dot three-piece outfit from SHEIN. It is quite risque due to its high slit, but it is perfect for a tropical getaway! I have received so many compliments when wearing it (and I also wore it in Miami for my birthday dinner with my family btw!). While I wouldn't wear a flower crown anywhere BUT Cuba and countries with similar vibes, these burgundy flowers looked really good with my SHEIN ensamble, don't you think?

I have linked my outfit and similar items I love below. Can you imagine that this polka dot three-piece dress is $20?!

Week 27: The Start of 2017. The Return of Tartan.

Wow. What a year 2016 has been! I moved to New York, married my love, launched this blog and my online shop, travelled to gorgeous places, and so much more!

Those loyal readers who follow me on Instagram (I love you!) know that I have been on the craziest, most wonderful "tour" over the last few weeks. I spent a very cozy Christmas at home with Ben and his family in Utah, and then my love took me on our Scandinavian adventure

The trip has been splendid and surprising in many ways, however I feel I have been living on an airplane for way too long now!

All throughout December, Ben and I flew back and forth between New York and Park City, and after Christmas up until now we were hopping from Moscow to Stockholm ---> Kiruna ---> Copenhagen ---> Oslo ---> Stockholm ---> Amsterdam. Phew!  I promise I will share a proper travel diary with you as soon as I get back to New York... and after at least one day of proper sleep and some serious unpacking.

For now, catch out this sexy, casual look that I shot with Dennis. The Old New Year celebration falls on the 14th of January, so it is still totally appropriate to have a Christmas tree in some photographs. :)

The highlight (or I shall I say Highland? ;)) of the look is this plaid skirt from ZARA, matched with a sexy Zaful top and knee high Steve Madden boots. The tartan print is definitely becoming more and more popular, especially after the crazy success of the whole Outlander universe. At least to me, tartan is always a good reminder of Jamie Fraser ;) Who else loves tartan because of Outlander?!

Week 26: CHRISTMAS SPECIAL. Where to find a cozy warm sweater?

Finding a beautiful, warm sweater can be a tough task sometimes. I don't think I even bought any sweaters last winter! This year though, I have discovered a few brands with gorgeous, cozy winter wear I cannot resist. One of the brands is Land's End. They have a pop up store in Soho (580 Broadway) right now, so if you are in NYC, definitely pay a visit. Their clothes are quite affordable, especially considering they are mostly made from high quality cashmere and wool.

I amlinking to my Land's End favourites here, along with the red sweater I am wearing in this post:

Another brand I am loving at the moment is Dale of Norway. Their sweaters have beautiful Nordic designs, and they are perfect for the Christmas season. Bear in mind they are quite pricey, but I think it can be a great gift for your significant other.

I have linked few of my favourite sweaters from other brands too. Enjoy and share your holiday pictures with me!
