Bridal Week. Jewels Worthy of a Dynasty

As a bride preparing for my wedding this summer, I find myself reflecting not only on my custom-made gown or our fairytale chateau venue, but on what truly lasts. Having spent years as the editor-in-chief of a Wedding Magazine (long time ago now! :)), I’ve witnessed thousands of love stories told in lace, florals, and candlelight. Yet amid the fleeting trends and beautiful moments, there’s one detail that endures: the jewelry.

Unlike the wedding dress that gets carefully boxed away after a single wear, a truly magnificent piece of jewelry, particularly one crafted with rare colored gemstones, becomes an heirloom.

A ruby ring or a sapphire pendant doesn’t just adorn the bride on her wedding day; it weaves her into a legacy, ready to be worn at anniversaries, passed down to daughters, and rediscovered by future generations.

I am not going to give away secrets of my own bridal look, but what I will do is highlight the NYC based magnificent jewelry brand - Leibish. In my recent bridal shoot for my blog and social media, I wore several of Leibish’s breathtaking pieces. Each one radiating elegance, timeless class and sparkling beauty.

Whether it was a canary yellow diamonds that caught the light with every turn, or a deep blue sapphire ring that felt like wearing a poem, the jewelry didn't just complement the dress—it told its own story.

While white diamonds and pearls will forever be classic, there’s something powerfully personal about choosing color. A bride who selects a bold gemstone is telling the world something about herself: that she is timeless, yes, but also vibrant, individual, and unafraid to sparkle in her own unique way.

Royalty and aristocracy have long embraced the power of colored jewels. Queen Elizabeth II's Burmese ruby tiara, Princess Diana’s iconic sapphire engagement ring (now worn by Catherine, Princess of Wales), and Empress Joséphine’s emerald parure all remind us that colored stones have always been markers of majesty, strength, and sentiment. In the grand ballrooms of Europe and the courts of India, rubies symbolized passion, emeralds stood for renewal, and sapphires protected the wearer from envy and harm.

To wear colored stones, then, is to stand in that lineage—to be regal, radiant, and remembered.

For me, a woman wearing Leibish represents not just luxury and beauty. She marks a milestone with something rare and deeply meaningful. She knows the weight and wonder of true craftsmanship!

Would you like a hint of what I am going to wear to my own Big Day? For one of my bridal looks I am going to wear rubies! I’m honored to share this chapter in colored jewels that I’ll treasure forever, and one day, pass on to someone I love. After all, weddings are about happy beginnings. And heirlooms accompany and signify the forever that follows.

Theme 36: Holiday Season. Sentiero Shoes - perfect gifts for a Fashionista!

As every self-respecting fashionista, I get weak in the knees because of gorgeous shoes. And not because I can't walk on high heels (because I can. At least I think I do?!). Recently I have discovered Sentiero - an online boutique with stunning and original designer shoes. Every pair is either a piece of art or just the most original trendy pair you can find, and I just HAVE to share the news that Sentiero Shoes is currently running up to 50% off sale on some of their bestselling shoes.

I have already 3 pair of shoes from Sentiero online boutique, and all three are not only beautiful and make at least 5 people a day ask me where did I get that gorgeousness, but are durable and of a great quality. They will make a great luxury gift for a fashionista you know and love (or maybe you should get them for yourself? ;)) There are lot of stunning pairs on sale, so make sure you check Sentiero Shoes asap before the offer ends!

The most stunning Ballin kitten heels. They are just so perfect! They are now on SALE!

Obsessed with them! My favorite Ballin Garden heels.

Ballin Garden heels are perfect for classy events, holiday gatherings, and also they will be surprisingly great at the office! They are super comfortable and will add chicness to your work attire. Also, to be honest with you, I used to hate kitten heels, but this pair just completely turned my world upside down, and I think kitten heels have to be in every woman's wardrobe.

You can style them in so many ways! I added these cute polka dot stockings to make my look even more interesting and add that vintage feel.

Theme 32: Boho Chic. Festival Vibes in the City

For a while I wanted to get a long cardigan, but couldn't find what I really liked. Luckily I received this absolutely beautiful long knitted crochet cardigan from California Moonrise, and I am embarrassed to say that I wear it pretty much every day with everything now!

Pictures on their website doesn't even give it a justice. The cardigan is very comfy, but stylish and can be as easily worn with shorts and jeans as with a swimsuit or as a warm throw at home. Recently I have been writing in outdoors cafes a lot, and because it is still chilly in New York, I love throwing this cardigan over basic tops and tshirts.

For this look, shot by my favorite NYC Photographer Dennis, I styled California Moonrise cardigan with white jeans, silky top with lacey details, added some black accessories and of course wore my cowboy hat that I seem to not take off since Coachella :)

Week 29: NYFW Recap. My REVOLVE & Cynthia Rowley Looks

MY LOOK 1:

Dress - Tularosa X Revolve | Bag - Christian Louboutin | Hat - PomPom London |
Boots - UGGs (grey and white style here ) | Socks - similar here, but expensive! And $5 red ones I like :) |
Fur Coat - Снежная Королева (similar here. sort of! :) )

I wore this comfy, yet stylish look for Francesca Liberatore NYFW show. The show was beautiful, and I could spot so many famous bloggers and TV personalities, like Dorothy Wang from Rich Kids from Beverly Hills, in the audience. I have made a little collage with my favourite looks from Francesca Liberatore's beautiful FW 2017 show.

I wore this 70s inspired Tularose dress with a white fur jacket, and I can imagine wearing the dress on a beach vacation as well. So easy to style it! Revolve always has the best selection of clothes and brands. If I could shop only in one store for the rest of my life, it would be, without any doubt, Revolve.

I also wore my new Christian Louboutin pink bag for the first time. It was another gift Ben gave to me when we were in Copenhagen. And Ben was also the one who took all these photographs and the upcoming video!

MY LOOK 2:

Dress - Cynthia Rowley (its not on sale YET, but I will link it when it's available) |
Bracelet - Hermes | Shoes -  Christian Louboutin

Another NYFW look that I wore for some meetings and a brunch at my favourite Russian restaurant Mari Vanna NYC. This teal blue dress with embroidered flowers is by Cynthia Rowley, and it is so pretty! Kind of reminds me of my Marie Antoinette Theme Week (click here to see my Marie Antoinette inspired looks!)

With my youngest fans :)

Thank you Shopstyle for the dresses!

Week 28: Scandinavian Adventure. Raden A50 Set review.

Ben and I travel quite often and last year I hopped from one plane to another almost every weekend. It wasn't always for fun and vacations (although we had our fair share of those too!), but often for family matters and work. Regardless of the purpose, it is important for me to have stylish, comfortable and spacious luggage.

As my suitcases (I had this one for years!) got destroyed by our frequent flying schedule, I was excited to get a new Raden A50 luggage set in a sleek, matte black color for our Scandinavian trip. The set includes the A22 Carry-On and the A28 Check suitcase. To be honest I really wanted a pink and white combo (they have so many colors to pick from!), however many colors were sold out before Christmas. Luckily, I checked their website just now and seems like they have everything back in stock!

What is so special about this luggage set? Well, the best feature is that every suitcase has a built-in scale. You simply download the Raden app and lift the handle and an internal scale will determine how heavy your bag is, displaying the weight in the app. Moreover, the app can tell you where your luggage is within 100 feet as there is a Bluetooth receiver inside the case.

There are also two charging ports on both suitcases that allows you to charge your device. My iPhone is always low on battery, so this is quite a handy feature.

Both suitcases are light and roll easily without me having to push or drag them.

Now, of course there are also some down sides that I just have to talk about. Even though the Raden set is gorgeous, and looked so sophisticated out of the box, it got scratched very easily on our first flight. I am not sure if it's an issue with the black cases or the material used. Despite the scratched surface, the content of my bag was 100% protected, which is important when you travel with expensive camera equipment, heeled shoes and makeup all packed together :)

Overall, I do recommend the Raden luggage set if you can ignore a few scratches on the surface. You will appreciate the functionality and protection these suitcases provide.

MY LOOK:

Leather shearling jacket - Walter Baker | White bodysuit - Oroblu | Boots - Hush Puppies (in black)

Photographs were taken in Skeppsholmen Hotel, Stockholm.

In the next post, I am going to share some of my Cold Vacation Essentials and help you pack for your vacations in sub-zero weather and ski resorts!
