Amidst of being in the middle of pandemic and weddings getting cancelled left and right, we women did not loose our desire to dress up and feel like fairy tale princesses and elegant ladies. However, with everything that is happening in the world I think it is important to be able to allocate your spending budget wisely. Shelling out thousands of dollars on fashion items might not be something we want to do right now.

When I saw Ever-Pretty collections, I couldn’t believe how cheaply priced their dresses are and was curious about the quality. Browsing through the website, I picked an exquisitely decadent velvet sequin evening gown and a tulle wedding dress with delicate silver embroidery and sequins…

When they arrived, I could’t believe that these gorgeous dresses were both around $50! So here I am sharing with you my latest find - Ever-pretty website with dresses for a wedding, prom or a Bridgerton inspired party (oh, I would so attend that!)

Taking these pictures during snowstorm in New York was a bit challenging, but I love how wonderful they came out. This black velvet dress makes me look tall and regal and the silhouette of the dress is quite modest, which I honestly like for a change (cannot always show cleavage, can I?!) It is very well done and looks expensive. It reminded me of the show Reign, which I know was terribly historically inaccurate, but had some seriously amazing fashions!

I was initially planning to shoot the white dress somewhere in the green field as it has this beautiful fairy romantic look, thanks to silvery embroidery and ruffled butterfly-sleeves, but NYC was AGAIN hit with the snow, so I braced myself, put my hair up and imagined I am attending an off-season ball at Bridgertons’ estate. If you follow me and my blog for a while, you know that I LOVE imagining I am from different eras or stepped out from a novel/show. This look definitely gave me a Regency era vibe and I fell in love with it.
